Day 1: Arrival in Dibrugarh, Assam

  • Arrive in Dibrugarh, the nearest major city with good connectivity by air, rail, and road.
  • Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.

Day 2-4: Journey to Mouling National Park

  1. Dibrugarh to Mouling National Park (via Pasighat)
    • Distance: ~180 km (Dibrugarh to Pasighat by Bogibeel Bridge)
    • Travel Time: ~5-6 hours by car.
    • Cross the Bogibeel Bridge into Arunachal Pradesh. Reach Pasighat and rest overnight.
  2. Explore Mouling National Park
    • Activities:
      • Trekking and birdwatching in pristine forest areas.
      • Spot wildlife like takins, red pandas, and clouded leopards.
      • Visit nearby tribal villages (Adi Tribe).

Day 5-6: Pasighat to Namdapha National Park

  1. Travel from Pasighat to Namdapha National Park (via Roing and Tezu)
    • Distance: ~380 km
    • Travel Time: ~10-12 hours (split across two days with an overnight stop at Tezu).
    • Road conditions may vary; local transport or private vehicle recommended.
  2. Overnight in Miao (Gateway to Namdapha)
    • Miao is the entry point to Namdapha National Park. Stay at eco-camps or forest lodges.

Day 7-9: Explore Namdapha National Park

  • Activities:
    • Wildlife Safari: Spot tigers, leopards, red pandas, and hornbills.
    • Trekking: Explore Lisu tribal trails and unique biodiversity.
    • Birdwatching: Over 500 bird species, including rare ones like the white-bellied heron.
  • Stay: Forest guesthouses or eco-resorts in Miao.

Day 10: Return to Dibrugarh

  • Travel back to Dibrugarh from Miao (~200 km, ~6-7 hours).
  • Take a flight/train home or continue exploring Assam.
